Pierre VAL from INSERM (Clermont-Ferrand) will give a seminar entitled:

"Adrenal cortex tumorigenesis and development: lessons from mouse models".

The adrenal gland plays a central role in controlling body homeostasis and stress response. Despite its essential activities, the molecular mechanisms involved in its pathophysiological development have remained elusive. Using a translational approach relying on patients’ samples analysis and mouse genetics, we have identified master pathways involved in the control of both adrenal physiology and tumorigenesis. Here, we will discuss our recent findings on the role of WNT signalling and epigenetic regulators in tumour development and functional zonation within the adrenal cortex.

This seminar is scheduled for Monday,January 13th in the Thesis room (ENS, Monod campus)
